The Ibn Al-Haythem (IHOptics) center is a photonics research center based at the College of Electronics Bani Walid.
The IHOptics was established as a result of cooperative work of interested researchers in the area of photonics. The Research Center, merging groups from the College of Electronics and other researchers in different countries.
In addition to the College of Electronics Bani Walid, the IHOptics is strongly supported by National Association of Scientific Research (NASR).
Researchers at IHOptics are interested in many areas making our center always ready to discover in a wide range of applications. The IHOptics focuses on research in areas such as optical fiber sensors, dispersion compensation techniques, radio-over-fiber, and free space optics.
